Pineapple kesari
Pineapple kesari mithraa kitchen |
Ingredients:
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup semolina/rava
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water + milk
4 tbsp of ghee
1 tsp of cardamon powder
10-12 cashews
Method:
- Heat a pan add 1 tsp of ghee and roast the rava till brown then transfer it to a plate leave it to cool .
- Now add 1 tsp of ghee in the pan and roast the cashews.
- In the same pan add water + milk , add sugar, stir continuously . After it is half dissolved add the pineapple juice and cardamon powder, stir till sugar dissolves and let it boil.
- Once it starts boiling add semolina/rava into it and stir it well.Add the cashews
- Add the ghee little by little, stir well till you get the consistency not too thick, not too watery.
- Garnish with pineapple chunks ans serve hot.
Note:
While add rava/semolina to the sugar syrup stir it well to avoid any lumps.
You can even add few drops of pineapple essence for extra flavour.
