Pav Bhaji

       Pav Bhaji  is one of my favorite chat .First time I tasted it on a road side shop in Bangalore (my hubby's fav shop)    the taste was really mouth watering,  how many times I  cook PAVBHAJI could`nt  get that taste  .
Ingridents:
  • Pav bread : 10
  •  Potato  : 2 cups
  • Green chilli : 2
  • Onion : 2
  • Ginger- garlic paste:  1 1/2 tsp
  • Greenpeas: 1/4 cup
  • Carrots: 1/2 cup
  • Cauliflower: 1/4 cup
  • capsicum: 1/4 cup
  • Tomatoes: 1 cup
  • redchilli powder: 1/2 tsp
  • pav bhaji masala: 1 1/2 tsp
  • black salt : 1/2 tsp
  • Butter: 3 tbsp
Method:
  1.  Boil the potaotes ,  peel the skin and mash it
  2. Boil the carrots, peas, cauliflower till they are soft and tender.
  3. Heat  the kadai  , add 2 tbsp of butter and saute the onion.Now add the ginger -garlic paste, saute for a minute .
  4. tip in the capsicum , then add chopped tomatoes and cook till it ozooes oil.
  5. Now add in the dry masala and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Now add in the mashed potaoes and the mushed veggis and cook well till the masala. mixes well. If needed you can add some water and cook for a minute.
  7. Add butter in the tava and  place the PAV buns on it till it turns light brown.
Serving:
Serve the buns with masala sprinkled with coriander leaves, chopped onion and lemon wedges.
While eating sprinkle the onion and squeeze the lemon over the masala , have it with hot buns.
