Pav Bhaji is one of my favorite chat .First time I tasted it on a road side shop in Bangalore (my hubby's fav shop) the taste was really mouth watering, how many times I cook PAVBHAJI could`nt get that taste .
Ingridents:
Serve the buns with masala sprinkled with coriander leaves, chopped onion and lemon wedges.
While eating sprinkle the onion and squeeze the lemon over the masala , have it with hot buns.
Ingridents:
- Pav bread : 10
- Potato : 2 cups
- Green chilli : 2
- Onion : 2
- Ginger- garlic paste: 1 1/2 tsp
- Greenpeas: 1/4 cup
- Carrots: 1/2 cup
- Cauliflower: 1/4 cup
- capsicum: 1/4 cup
- Tomatoes: 1 cup
- redchilli powder: 1/2 tsp
- pav bhaji masala: 1 1/2 tsp
- black salt : 1/2 tsp
- Butter: 3 tbsp
- Boil the potaotes , peel the skin and mash it
- Boil the carrots, peas, cauliflower till they are soft and tender.
- Heat the kadai , add 2 tbsp of butter and saute the onion.Now add the ginger -garlic paste, saute for a minute .
- tip in the capsicum , then add chopped tomatoes and cook till it ozooes oil.
- Now add in the dry masala and cook for 3 minutes.
- Now add in the mashed potaoes and the mushed veggis and cook well till the masala. mixes well. If needed you can add some water and cook for a minute.
- Add butter in the tava and place the PAV buns on it till it turns light brown.
Serve the buns with masala sprinkled with coriander leaves, chopped onion and lemon wedges.
