Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup of rice
2/3 cup of yellow split dal
1/4 cup of toor dal
1/4 cup of moong dal
1 tbsp of urud dhal
1/4 cup of red shallots
1 inch ginger
3 red chilli
2-3 green chilli
2 tsp of asafotedia
3 sprigs of coriander leaves
2 sprigs of curry leaves
salt as needed
Method:
- Soak lentils,ginger,chilli,asafotedia for 2 hours in a bowl.
- Soak the rice in a seperate bowl for 2 hours
- Grind lentils, with 3 tbsp of water to a paste form.
- Grind rice coarsely.
- Now combine both to make a dosadough. Add chopped onions,coriander leaves, curry leaves.
- Heat tava and pour one ladle of dough and spread it like crepes.Spray oil , so it wouldnt get stuck to the tava.
- Flip it and cook till you get both sides get brown spots,
- Serve with avial or jaggery.
