Vegetable balls

Vegetables are main source of vitamins, minerals,but  most of the kids don't like veggies and greens, we as parents have to  feed them with health food. So I decided to make vegetable balls for my fussy son , lets get cooking!!!
                           
                             
Ingredients:
300 gm of chopped vegetables(carrot,capsicum,beans)
1   sprig of spring onion
1/2 finely chopped onions
2 garlic pods
1-2 tbsp of maida/all purpose flour
2 tsp of corn flour
2 bread
2 tsp of soya sauce
1 tsp of chilli paste
oil for frying

Method
  • Finely chop the vegetables.
  •             
  • Combine  in a bowl vegetables,onion,spring onion,finely chopped garlic,soya sauce,salt and cover it with cling wrap,let it rest it for 5 minutes. It would ooze water.
  • Cut the sides of bread, dip it in water ,squeeze the water , crumble and add to the veggie mix.
  • Tip in 2 tbsp of maida, corn flour and mix well, so you can make balls. Here flour is added as binding agent to make  veggieballs.
  •                             
  • Heat oil and deep fry the balls.
  • Serve with vegetable soya sauce.
  •                               
Note:
  1. Once you drop in oil if the ball fall apart add some more of maida/ all purpose flour.
  2. Dont add water  to the vegetable mix, the water oozing from the veggies is sufficient.
  3. Instead of chiili paste you can add chilli sauce .
