Spicy Baby Potato Fry

This Spicy baby potato fry is south indian style curry. Indeed i should say i made a lazy version.



Ingredients :

Baby potatoes - 400 gms (boil and peel the skin)
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Coriander - for garnish

Method :

1. Wash the potatoes and boil it for 2 whistles, peel the skin.
2. In a heated pan add oil, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida (hing), turmeric, red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste
3. Add the boiled potatoes and saute well, allow the spices to mix well. Close it with a lid and cook well for 5 minutes
4. In between open the lid and give a quick stir such that it cooks evenly
5. Add the coriander powder and salt. Toss it well
6. When you see nice brown roasts on its side, switch off.



7. Garnish with coriander (dhania) and serve !!
