Batata Bonda


Ingridents

 Potata mashed  350 gms
 Onion 1/2 cup chopped
Salt- 1 tsp
green chilles - 4
Ginger - 1tsp

For the outer sheet

1 1/2  cup besan flour
1/2 cup rice flour
2tsp  chilli powder
salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method
 First for the outer sheet, add both the above said flour with salt and some water . Now whisk it to smooth paste(not too watery) without an lumps.

For the Bonda

Add some oil add ginger, hing ,onion fry  it till onion becomes translucent. Then add the mashed potato and cook it for few minutes till everything mixes well.
Allow it cool  for sometime and make it as balls and dip in the flour mixture(the batter).
Heat oil for frying , now deep fry the balls.

Serve the bonda with sauce  .

Note:

If the batter is too watery then it wouldnt coat on the balls.
