Beans kootu
Ingridents:
1cup of beans
1/4 cup toor dhal
pinch of turmeric powder
Temper
1 tsp of oil
1tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp urud dhal
1 tsp hing
Grind
1 tsp urud dhal
1 1/2 tsp corriander seeds
1/2 tsp of peppercorns
1/2 tsp of jeera
Method
- Boil the toor dhal till it is soft, then mash it..
- Boil the beans with turmeric powder with some salt.
- Now add the mashed dhal/pulses to the beans , cook it for 1 minute
- Dry roast the ingridents given in the grind column
- After grinding into a paste add it to the beans , give a good stir and cook it for a minute.
- Now add the temper and garnish it with chopped corriander leaves
