                                           Beans poriyal


Ingridents :
 1 cup of chopped beans
 1 tbsp of  grated coconut
1 tsp of papprika powder/ sambar powder
 salt to taste

Temper
1 tbsp of cooking oil
1/2 tsp of mustard seeds
1/2 tsp of broken urud dhal
1/2 tsp of hing
 2 chilies

 curry leaves

Method :

  • Chop the beans and boil/ pressure cook it
  • Heat the kadai , add the oil , then add the mustard. Once it splatters add the urud dhal, hing, chilli curry leaves
  • Now add the boiled beans  then add the sambar/paprika powder and cook for a minute.
  • Now tip in the coconut and stir it well. Cook it for a minute
  • Serve with hot rice and sambar/rasam
