CARROT RICE

Carrot rice is my son's favorite one and its also easy to make it.

Ingridents 

1 cup of grated carrot
1 tbsp of lemon juice
1 cup of cooked rice
1 tbsp of chopped onion

Temper

1 tbsp of cooking oil
1/2 tsp of mustard
1 tsp of urud,channa dhal
pinch of hing
few curry leaves

Method

  • Heat the oil in a kadai and add  the temper
  • Then tip in the onion and fry it till translucent
  • Now add the grated carrot and cook for 2 mins with closed lid or until it is soft and cooked well add salt to it.
  • After switching it off add the lime juice.
Stir it well , now tip in cooked rice and fold in the carrot mixture

NOTE:
Dont add the lime juice before switching off the burner, cause it would give sour taste..
