Green peas is a versatile one, it can be used in many ways. My MIL made green peas vada and it was very tasty and was remaninded of middle eastern veg food FALAFEL.
Ingridents:
Green peas: 1 cup
Capsicum : 1tbsp
Ginger paste: 1 tsp
Chilli : 1/2tsp (chilli paste)
onion : 1/4 cup
Saunf: 1/2 tsp
MAida :1/2 tbsp
Corn flour: 1/4 tbsp
Salt to tast
Oil for deep fry
Method:
Soak the peas for 2 hours and grind it coarsely.
Add the chopped capsicum, ginger paste, chilli paste, chopped onion,saunf,salt and sprinkle some water .
Add corn flour and maida to make it firm so that , the ball wouldnt break.
Mix it well and make it round balls and then flatten it as patties
Heat the oil and deep fry.
Serve it with tomato sauce.
