I wanted to do a random sandwich for my sis, but ended up making this bread pizza and she totally loved it. It's my sister's favourite evening tiffin now. I make this for my sis when she comes home hungry after school. This goes well with hot chocolate drink. And very filling, when there's time-crunch this is my saviour. A different variety for kids that avoid bread. This can be prepared under 20 minutes.
Ingredients :
8 slices of bread
2 teaspoon unsalted butter
1 small onion
1 tomato
1 capsicum (bell pepper)
1/4 cup - 1/2 cup pizza sauce (adjust according to the spice level & taste)
1/2 cup cheese, grated
Salt to taste
Method :
Arrange the bread slices on a chopping board, spread a good amount of butter and pizza sauce on all bread slices. I have used less of the sauce as the flavour I bought from the store is way too hot. I mix it with mayonnaise & use as a Dip sometimes.
1. Slice or chop the vegetables thinly (you can add mushroom or paneer in this). And mix salt. Arrange the vegetables on all bread slices and top with generous amount of grated cheese. (I have used lower quantity of Parmesan cheese here but you can go with mozzarella cheese as well).
Preheat the oven at 250 degrees F and arrange the pizza breads in it. Bake the pizzas for about 15 minutes, till they turns slightly brown and cheese starts melting.
3. Yummy bread pizzas are ready to serve.
Divi !!
