Pudina rice / Green pulav

          I like pudina/mint very much, so I decided to make rice with mint and moreover for the kids to eat greens and veggies we have to come out with new idea.

Ingredients:
 1 cup of mint leaves
 1 cup of long grain rice/basmati rice
 1/2 cup  cut veggies (cauliflower, potato,peas)
 1/4 cup chopped onion
 water 2 cups

Tempering:
2 tbsp of oil+butter
2 cardamon
2 cloves
2 chilli
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 tsp of ginger  garlic paste
1 marati moggu

Method :



  •  First for tempering heat the kadai add oil+butter then add the spices one by one.
  • After splattering add ginger - garlic paste , chilli.
  • Meanwhile grind the mint leaves and extract the juice.
  • In the kadai add the veggies, salt and cook for a minute, dont overcook it .

  • Now add the rice and give in a stir. 
  • Pour the 2 cups of water + mint juice(together 2 cups)
  • Cook till rice is cooked.
  • Serve hot .
