Ingredients:
3-4 large potatoes boiled and shredded
3/4 cup spinach leaves blanched
1 tbsp of cilantro
1/2 cup beans finely chopped
1/2 cup carrot finely chopped
1/2 cup cabbage shredded
1/2 cup peas boiled
1 1/2 tsp ginger- chilli paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
2 - 3 tbsp of corn flour
salt to taste
oil for frying
Method:
- Add one tbsp of oil in a frying pan and saute the french beans and carrot for a minute. Then add shredded cabbage cook for a minute. now tip in peas and cook for a minute and let it cool.
- Meanwhile blanch the spinach and squeeze extra water and chop it.
- Boil the potatoes and shred it.
- Chop the corriander leaves.
- Now whilst in the mortar the vegetables coarsely, don't mash it too much.
- Now add the potaotes, spinach, coriander, cumin powder, dry mango powder, ginger- chilli paste to the veggie paste and add the corn flour to this for binding and make it to balls.
- Heat oil for frying . Flatten the balls fry it until both sides turns brown
