Mango chutney is east to make to preapare and its good accompaniments for idli, roti, spreads for burgers, sandwiches. If you want a tangy taste you can choose semi ripened mangoes .

Ingredients:
1 green mango
2-3 shallots
1 tsp of grated ginger
2 tsp of urud dhal
2 green chilli
1 tsp of cumin
2 tsp of oil
salt to taste
Tempering:
1tsp of oil
1 tsp of mustard
Method:
- Grate the mango
- Heat oil add urud dhal, fry it till brown.
- add shallots , ginger, chilli, cumin . Cook for a minute then add grated mango and just toss it.
- Now cool it and grind it.
- Add the tempering.
serve with dosa, idli or it can be used as spread.
