Kaju katli/ Cashew cake

Its festival time all shops would be bustling with people  buying new clothes, jewelry  for Diwali. If you   say diwali first we remember sweets  , so lets do easy and most liked sweet  Kaju katli which is exotic and rich sweet,  Kaju means cashew , cashew burfi or cashew fudge .
                                 


Ingredients:
 1 cup of cashew nut
 1/2 cup of  sugar
 2-3 tbsp water
 2 tbsp of ghee
 1 butter paper sheet

Method:





  • First powder  the cashew nut.
  • Add sugar to a pan and immediately add water , just enough for the sugar to dissolve, wait till you get one string consistency.
  •                            
  • Now tip in the powdered cashew and stir it well.
  • Add 1 tbsp of ghee to the pan.
  • Keep stirring  till you get fudge consistency. Transfer the content onto to a greased(with 1 tbsp of gheee) butter paper and cover it.
  •                               
  • Once the fudge is warm, knead lightly to make a dough.
  •                               
  • Roll the dough and cut into your favorite shapes .
  •
