Potato Patties

        Patties can be made with only potatoes or with vegetable and potatoes,it can be done in many ways.

                     





Ingredients:



Potato :  7-8
Green peas frozen: 1/4 cup
 green chilli: 2 / paste
 Red chilli powder: 1 tsp
 Ginger powder: 1 tsp
 Garlic powder: 1/2 tsp
Dry mango powder: 1 tsp
salt  to taste

Corn flour : 1 tbsp
Garam/chat masala : 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying


Method:

  • Boil  the potatoes, peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Whilst the frozen peas and mash them.
  • In a bowl combine mashed potatoes, peas, chilli, dry powders  and combine them and make them into balls.
  • Flatten the balls and dust them with corn flour .
  • Heat he kadai with oil, once oil gets hot deep fry them or shallow fry them in a pan.
  •                                   
  • Serve them with sauce.
  •               



Note:

  • If the potatoes are soggy, then add one slice of bread( dip it in water and squeeze the extra water),
  • Then add 1 tbsp of all purpose flour in water to make a thick paste, dip the patties in paste and then dust in corn flour or else dip it in bread crumbs.
