Palak dosa/ spinach crepes

Palak / English spinach is versatile we can use it many dishes, as crepes, salads,with paneer, in pilaf...
Its difficult to make kids eat greens , so  I decided to make it crepes/dosa, as many south Indian kids love dosa, so thought of making palak dosa.
               
                         


Ingredients:
palak  150 gms
rice 1 1/2 cups
Urud dhal 1/4 cup
methi seeds 1 tsp
onion 2 tbsp chopped
green chilli 1
grated carrot -2
salt as required
canola oil spray

                                 

Method:

  • Soak rice,dhal in a seperate container for 2 hours and grind and mix them well to batter consistency(pouring consistency).
  • Clean and roughly cut spinach, blanch in hot water.
  • In a processor combine spinach,green chilli and grind them.
  • Add the spinach to the dosa batter.
  • Tip in chopped onions,salt.
  • grate carrots for sprinking over the dosa.
  • Heat the dosa pan and pour one ladle of make shape of your desire and sprinkle carrots.
  • Spray oil, flip it , cook until both sides are light brown.
  • Serve with tomato chutney.
