Spinach pakora

Its a rainy day and wanna have something spicy and hot, had some leftover spinach sitting  in the fridge and decided to do this instantly ,  sitting near window and enjoying hot pakoras with chai and carrot cake , Hmm Its heaven!!
                   

Ingredients:
 150 gms of chopped spinach
 1 chopped onion
 1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste
 1 tsp of chilli flakes
 1 cup of besan flour
 1/4  cup of  rice flour
1 tbsp of oil
 1/4 tsp of hing
salt to taste

Oil for deep frying

Method:
  • Chop spinach,onion.

                       
  • In a bowl combine spinach, onion, ginger-garlic paste, salt, chilli flakes, 1 tbsp of hot oil and leave the mixture to rest for 3 minutes.

                      
  • The combined spinach now would have started oozing water, mix well.Add both  flour , hing  and  mix well.(Dont add water, sprinkle water if essential)

          
  • Heat oil in pan, and drop the mixture as small  ball in batches, fry till brown.

                                  
    • Serve with chutney or ketchup  and coffee/tea
